Weekend Read 17 January 2026
Another Saturday in January and we come together this weekend in celebration of Fulvic, mostly because Fulvic really makes such a difference to so many of us, but also because I have been writing about, taking and using the Fulvic products for the longest time and in many ways this is a tribute to Fulvic, but it is also a tribute to the efficacy of this outstanding compound. And it really is outstanding.
When I began writing about Fulvic, I stated that it would probably become one of the most profound ingredients I would ever write about and that statement still stands, much in the same way as my words about HA, Collagen Tripeptides and Ergothioneine still stand. There are of course others, the list is long, but with the focus on Fulvic, I want to begin by talking about Fulvic Elixir.
Often referred to as the elixir of life, Fulvic Elixir contains a potent strength of liquid Fulvic Acid which has been formulated to support immunity, digestion and mineral deficiencies. It contains pure, patented humic-free Fulvic Acid together with Ioniplex®, an ionic mineral complex, clinically proven to protect our bodies from cellular damage and as we know, cellular damage is a major cause of the ageing of our bodies, our glands and our skin.
With healthy ageing being at the forefront of all that we are and all that we do, I have always believed Fulvic Elixir to be the foundation for all forms of supplementation, most specifically because it not only provides nutrients to each of our cells for energy production, but being a super cell conductor, it also enhances the absorption of all other nutrients, as well as mobilising food to become our medicine. Shabir deep-dives into Fulvic in his article linked below, and as we roll through the Fulvic products a theme, which will become apparent, so when you buy Fulvic Elixir (480 ml), we will automatically send you Fulvic Elixir (240 ml) which has a value of £15.

Staying with supplementation, Ionicell is the capsule alternative to Fulvic Elixir and as with Fulvic Elixir, it has also been formulated with Ioniplex®. There is no doubt in my mind that Ioniplex® supports and nourishes the scalp follicles which, in turn, supports hair growth, but it also strengthens, protects and nourishes our nails and our skin, aligning with the clinical evaluation of this rather extraordinary compound.
I alternate between Fulvic Elixir and Ionicell, sometimes I take both, and this is a long-standing choice stemming from the depth of research and the acknowledgement of a compound which, being mineral rich, has the ability to carry minerals into each and every cell of our body. It is this ability that allows these minerals to penetrate into the cells where they are utilised for a multitude of processes within the body.
Across the years, I have often discussed the importance of minerals, quoting Dr Linus Pauling, the winner of two Nobel Prizes, and it is worth repeating his words once again here, those words being ‘you can trace every sickness, every disease, and every ailment, ultimately to a mineral deficiency’. With that said, and on theme, when you buy Ionicell, we will automatically send you Fulvic Elixir (240 ml) which, as above, has a value of £15.

Before I write about the Fulvic topical products, I have never under-estimated the importance of taking supplementation to support pioneering and cutting-edge topical products, so with that said we move onto Fulvic Shampoo, Fulvic Conditioner and Fulvic Mist. Once again, each of these products have been formulated with Ioniplex®, and although the primary purpose of the Fulvic haircare range is to target hair loss, thinning hair and hair shedding, they also focus on scalp and hair health.
From my own experience and having used each of the Fulvic haircare products for almost two decades, I absolutely know that these products are transformational given time. It certainly won’t take two decades to notice a difference, but my trust in Fulvic is absolute and sharing that absolute trust, when you buy Fulvic Shampoo, Fulvic Conditioner or Fulvic Mist, we will automatically include Fulvic Elixir (240 ml) with each product bought. On a roll.
Fulvic Shampoo £25 for 240 ml + Fulvic Elixir (240 ml) Free; Fulvic Conditioner £25 for 240 ml + Fulvic Elixir (240 ml) Free; Fulvic Mist £25 for 120 ml + Fulvic Elixir (240 ml) Free (offers end at midnight GMT, Sunday 18 January)
I just want to come in here to say that I use Fulvic Shampoo as a body wash, primarily because Fulvic has incredible qualities for the health of our skin and staying on subject, I also use Fulvic Conditioner as a softening skin conditioner because it makes me happy and it makes my skin happy before I follow through with Fulvic Body Lotion, which I will write about in a moment. One more thing here, after cleansing my face, I spray it with Fulvic Mist. I just do.
And so Fulvic Face Cream, which is loaded with powerful antioxidants and active ionic minerals for healthy cell regeneration, allowing it to work at the deepest layers of our skin to protect collagen and elastin. On the surface of our skin it enables dermal hydration, but quite honestly, I really don’t need to write many more words about the efficacy of Fulvic Face Cream because it is one of our bestselling skincare products and so, somewhat inevitably, with every Fulvic Face Cream bought, we will automatically include Fulvic Elixir (240 ml).

When Shabir formulated Fulvic Body Lotion, and aside from the inclusion of Fulvic ionic minerals, it was also important to include breakthrough skincare technologies, so he included two of them, Synastol® TC and HydroSynol® DOI, to help support and repair dull, dry skin, but to also help prevent loss of tone, elasticity and firmness. Working wonders, if not miracles, on dry, scaly ‘crocodile’ legs, in a twist with every Fulvic Body Lotion bought, we will automatically include Fulvic Face Cream (30 ml) which is worth £15. This is getting rather incestuous. Never mind.
Fulvic Body Lotion £20 for 200 ml + Fulvic Face Cream (30 ml) Free (offer ends at midnight GMT, Sunday 18 January)
Finally, Fulvic Nail Cream, where would we be without Fulvic Nail Cream. It has always been one of our bestselling products, but it came into its own during the pandemic because it played an incredible role in rescuing our nails, most specially nails which had been wrecked after gel nail treatments. At that time Sarah wrote an article about the problems of gel nails and as that concern still stands, I am linking her article below, which you may wish to read, and to end this section, well nearly end this section, with every Fulvic Nail Cream bought, we will automatically include Fulvic Body Lotion (60 ml) which is worth £8.50.

In conclusion, some words. Such is the power of Fulvic, that when I first started to write about Fulvic as a supplement, I said that if I had one wish, it would be that every single one of us would take Fulvic and that still stands. Supplementation is a choice, it always has been, so in some small way, Fulvic has become almost mandatory today, well mandatory if you use any of the Fulvic products. With Fulvic being an optimal gift for our health and wellbeing, I will leave it there, adding that I believe we have enough Fulvic gifts to share with each of you, but if any of the Fulvic gifts fail to go into your basket, that will mean the offer is over.
Fulvic forever, but actually referencing profound compounds once again, I must include Natural Eggshell Membrane (NEM), the key active compound in Superior Joints. Of course, I would say that Superior Joints is mandatory for providing joint pain relief from arthritis, muscle pain, menopausal joint pain, backache and shoulder pain, but it becomes mandatory because NEM is a clinically proven source of Chondroitin, HA, Collagen and other glycosamino-glycans which are essential for healthy joints.
In a double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial published in Clinical Rheumatology, more than 50% of patients noticed an improvement within ten days, but of course this improvement becomes more apparent over time. We always say that you must allow at least twenty-eight days for any supplement to kick in and some do take longer, but notwithstanding that, and with Shabir’s article on painful joints linked below, we still believe that Superior Joints supersedes all other forms of supplementation in this genre and we probably always will, so here Superior Joints drops in price from £30 to £26, across the weekend.

And now, I am about to eat a huge slice of humble pie, well maybe it’s just a small slice, but nevertheless I have always been extraordinarily vocal about the exploitation of every woman’s rite of passage, the menopause, most specifically the products which carry menopausal branding because I believe that the majority of those products are exploitative and I’m not going to change my mind on that any time soon.
Obviously, I am not talking about supplementation here and I wrote about the benefits of natural supplementation for the post-menopausal years last weekend, but on from that I was sent a product to review and test and I’ll get to that in a moment, but just to say that it was sent from the people at The Eye Doctor, a brand we endorse and recommend, mostly because some of their products really are fabulous, and I’ll include their Hypochlorous Eyelid Spray in that statement, a hypoallergenic eye cleansing solution which cleanses, calms and protects the eyelids, lashes, tear ducts and skin from inflammation, which can lead to long-term dry eye symptoms.
Hypochlorous Eyelid Spray £10 for 100 ml; The Eye Doctor Products
Anyway, said product arrived, which was all well and good until I saw the packaging and taking a deep breath, I will tell you that it had the words ‘For The Menopause’ written on it. It would have gone straight back to sender, but Lara made me open it because she had secretly tested it before she gave it to me, in fact most of the office had tested it before I got my hands on it and they all loved it and with a note to say that none of them are menopausal, I will now tell you that the product is a hot and cold neck wrap and it is truly amazing.
Swallowing my slice of humble pie, I know that this neck wrap was designed as a cooling experience to help alleviate hot flushes, but it is so much more than that because it offers relief and comfort for neck pain and you can either leave it in the fridge or heat it in the microwave for a warming experience. I do suffer from neck pain, which is almost a given when you sit in front of a computer for a long period of time, as many of us do, but this neck wrap is so relaxing and somehow I find myself endorsing and recommending this rather remarkable product from The Eye Doctor stable.
To close, I wish I could change the branding, but I can’t, so I will just have to get over myself, but one more thing to say here and that’s about the wording on the packaging which states that it is a versatile body wrap. Perhaps I am being too pedantic, but I have to manage expectations and this won’t wrap around your body unless you are a stick insect and we are not stick insects. I suppose you could lay it flat on your tummy if you are experiencing period pains for warmth and comfort, but essentially this is a weighted neck wrap and I’m just so incredibly happy that it has arrived in my life, so spreading that happiness, the Hot & Cold Wrap becomes £10, rather than the recommended selling price of £12.50.

Just one more thing to write about before we head into the Saturday only treat, and following through on my words about Fulvic Face Cream, when we launched the DoSe serums, I wrote at the time that the DoSe serums could either be used as stand-alone solutions or they could be dosed into Fulvic Face Cream, or any other moisturiser actually. I choose to dose and I know that many of you also choose to dose, so I am throwing a 15% discount across each of the Dose serums across the weekend, because once you are in mode, you may as well stay in that mode. The sharing mode.
DoSe Serums
And into the Saturday only treat, and it is a Saturday only treat with a story attached to it. Some of our most favourite seasonal gifts were from TEMPLESPA and their bestselling seasonal gift last year was their Truffle Treat and when Lara wrote about it on her Weekend Read, it sold out within an hour of the Weekend Read being released, these things happen, and actually they happen quite often.
The product used in Truffle Treat was Trufflesque, a wonderfully decadent anti-ageing mask formulated with black summer truffles, gold and silk peptides, natural plant extracts and a fruit and amino acid cocktail, so with every order placed for £35 and above, excluding p&p, we will automatically send you Trufflesque (7 ml)*. Full product details linked below.

To end, many of you may have seen Trinny in conversation with Shabir, which went live earlier this week. Taking questions from Trinny's followers, they discussed several issues, including the four nutrients we would all benefit from, so if you missed it, I am linking their conversation below.

Finally, the iconic song ‘Lovely Day’ was written by American soul singer Bill Withers together with Skip Scarborough, a songwriter and producer who worked with Earth, Wind and Fire, Patti Labelle and many other R&B stars before his death in 2003. As a single from the album, Menagerie, Lovely Day was released on 21 December 1977, and with the lyrics referencing the transformative powers of optimism, the song captures that optimism, highlighting resilience and the impact of supportive human connections. It feels apt. Today.
