Manganese / Molybdenum

Minute quantities of manganese are needed for protein and fat metabolism, healthy nerves, a healthy immune system and blood sugar regulation. Manganese is used in energy production and is required for normal bone growth and for reproduction. Additionally, it is used in the formation of cartilage and synovial fluid of the joints. Manganese works well with B-complex vitamins to give an overall feeling of wellbeing. Signs of manganese deficiency: Extremely rare, but may lead to hypertension, memory loss, profuse perspiration

Molybdenum is found in the liver, bones and kidneys and it supports bone growth and strengthening of the teeth. A molybdenum deficiency may cause impotence in older men. Do not take over 15 milligrams daily.
