Ideal for children and adolescents, to ensure an adequate daily intake of these essential fatty acids. MorEPA-Mini is a natural source of highly purified and concentrated omega-3 fatty acids derived from pharmacuetical-grade fish oil. Impurities such as mercury and PCBs have been removed through a series of highly technological processes as SFE/SFC (Supercritical Fluid Extraction/Chromatography) at low temperatures (below 50° C). Protective anti-oxidants have been added to MorEPA-mini. A natural strawberry flavouring provides a pleasant taste. 100% of MorEPA, including the gelatine, has been manufacutred from deep-sea fish. MorEPA-mini Hi-EPA fish oil capsules contain high levels - at least 75%- of highly purified omega-3 fatty acids. Instead of taking lots of capsules of fish oil a day, you only have to take two capsules of MorEPA-mini. This means you can avoid the surplus fat that you would get from consuming ordinary fish oil. This supplement is highly recommended since Western nutrition, on average, contains insufficient levels of EPA. Each soft capsule (net weight 432mg) contains at least 240mg EPA (approx) and 35mg DHA (approx), as well as 10mg evening primrose oil (GLA).

What are the benefits of ALA and why do MINAMI products not contain this?
Though beneficial, the third omega-3 fatty acid, ALA (Alpha-linolenic acids), has less potent health benefits than the other omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA. ALA omega-3 can be found in plant-based foods such as flaxseeds, avocado and walnuts. EPA and DHA fatty acids can be made from ALA in our bodies, but there is limited conversion. Making EPA and DHA from ALA happens very slowly and only small amounts are formed. It is therefore recommended that the best way to get EPA and DHA is to eat foods rich in these fatty acids, as well as supplementing the diet, with products such as those from MINAMI.
Which products contain omgea-3 fatty acids as triglycerides (TG)?
MorEPA Platinum and MorEPA Move.
How long does it take omega-3 fish oil supplements to work?
Most people see a benefit from using a high-strength omega-3 supplement within 3 to 12 weeks based on studies. However, it depends on whether they are taking sufficient amounts and also the right ratio of EPA to DHA.
What accreditations does MINAMI have?
Friends of the Sea certified means that our fish oil is derived from a sustainable source. Friend of the Sea’s mission is to protect the oceans for future generations by promoting certified sustainable seafood and omega-3 from sustainable fishing, sustainable aquaculture and other ocean-friendly products, as well as by supporting and developing conservation projects and campaigns to protect endangered species.

What’s the difference between CO2 extraction and the cold-pressed method?
CO2 extraction means the desired plant extract has been pulled from a matrix using supercritical CO2 as an extraction medium. This helps to obtain a purer extract. In contrast, no extraction of any particular component takes place during cold-pressing.
