Ginger Capsules

14,400-mg 60-Capsules

Suitable for Vegetarians

£9.95

Lamberts Ginger Capsules contain over 14g of ginger root to provide a strong ginger extract that helps digestion, circulation, arthritic pain, travel sickness and reduces bloating.

Ginger simultaneously improves gastric motility whilst having antispasmodic effects on muscle of the digestive tract. It can therefore be very useful in relieving indigestion, gas, bloating, nausea, vomiting, travel sickness and the general symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.

Each Lamberts Healthcare Ginger capsule provides 24mg of gingerols, which are volatile compounds that are easily lost if ginger is cooked, dried or crystallised. The dark rich concentrated ginger paste is dissolved into sunflower oil and supplied in capsules. Using this method ensures that the active constituents such as the gingerols and zingerone are preserved. Many ginger tablets and ginger supplements do not provide sufficient therapeutic levels of this active ingredient.

Ginger has a long history of use particularly as an aid to digestion since its armingproperties means it has a settling effect on the system. More recently ginger supplements have been recommended as part of joint care programs, alongside products such as glucosamine and fish oil.
