Bare Biology Vim & Vigour Vegan Omega 3 & Astaxanthin Capsules is a vegan omega 3 supplement from algae to aid with overall wellbeing. Live life to the full with a daily dose of pure omega-3 & antioxidant astaxanthin, all from algae.
Vim & Vigour Vegan Omega 3 capsules are made from natural algae oil; these vegan omega-3 capsules are rich in essential fatty acids DHA and EPA that support brain, heart and eye health. Astaxanthin is the main reason people buy krill oil supplements. It’s a carotenoid which gives salmon and shellfish their pink colour. It’s great to eat the rainbow and now you can get your ‘pink’ food from this sustainably sourced algae.
A 2017 systematic review concluded "algae sources of DHA significantly improve DHA concentrations in vegetarian populations", and a 2015 a study measured serum levels of DHA and the EPA in vegans before and after supplementing with an algal-derived omega-3 fatty acid for four months. The study concluded that 'the vegans responded robustly to a relatively low dose of a vegetarian omega-3 supplement'. Not only does Vim & Vigour provide beneficial amounts of EPA and DHA, Bare Biology has also added some astaxanthin.
Directions for use: As a food supplement, take 2 vegan omega 3 capsules per day (adults over 18). Maximum 4 a day, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Best taken with meals. Store in a cool place with the lid tightly closed. Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing.
Vim & Vigour capsules are not suitable for children and pregnant or breastfeeding women due to limited trials of astaxanthin in these groups. Not suitable for under 18 years old.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle. Consult your doctor before taking if you have any medical condition or are on medications (especially blood thinners). Never take more than the recommended dose.
