L-Glutathione is an amino acid which combines with selenium to provide glutathione peroxidase, the most potent free radical scavenging compound within the body.

A deficiency of l-glutathione first affects the nervous system causing poor co-ordination. As we age, levels of l-glutathione decline and a lack of l-glutathione can accelerate the ageing process. A glutathione deficiency is often noted in people who suffer from repeated infections and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Benefits of L-Glutathione:

  • • L-Glutathione is required for detoxification of numerous chemicals from the liver.
  • • Due to its antioxidant properties, L-glutathione protect the liver cells from free radical and chemical damage.
  • • Glutathione prevents oxidation of bad cholesterol which prevents the deposition of cholesterol onto arteries.
  • • Glutathione may improve sperm motility and counts.

L-Glutathione dosage range: 250-500 mg per day.
