Where are soapsmith ingredients sourced from?
Soapsmith makes every effort to keep their supply chain and manufacturing as local to Soapsmith as possible, reducing their carbon footprint and supporting local businesses at the same time. All of their products are manufactured in the UK, with 60% still made at Soapsmith HQ in London and the rest made in Devon. Soapsmith sources their ingredients from UK suppliers, and where this is not possible, from as close to the UK as possible.
Are Soapsmith products cruelty-free?
Yes. Animal testing of cosmetics is now illegal in Europe and has been for some time. Ingredients designed for cosmetics also come under this ban, so thankfully this horrible practice is becoming a thing of the past.
