Lifeplan Lutein provides 15mg of Lutein, a carotenoid derived from the plant pigment xanthophyll occurring naturally in fruits and vegetables. Research suggests that lutein's antioxidant properties may help to maintain the health of the skin, eyes and heart and may also be beneficial to women’s reproductive health.
The human body cannot manufacture lutein, so it needs to be obtained from the diet. Lutein is naturally found in dark, leafy green vegetables. Lutein is a carotenoid derived from the plant pigment xanthophyll, and lutein is also found naturally in the eye. Lifeplan Lutein supplement capsules are free from gelatin and dairy and are registered with the Vegan Society.
Directions: Take one lutein capsule daily with a meal. Each capsule typically provides 15mg of Lutein.
