Life Extension Bone Restore Calcium Supplement with Vitamin K2 provides the most complete, bioavailable calcium complex together with the active form of vitamin K2 which is vital for building healthy bone tissues. Calcium and vitamin D supplements contribute to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function.
A problem overlooked by most doctors is that loss of bone density is associated with deficiencies of not just calcium, but a host of other nutrients, including magnesium and vitamin D3. In order for calcium to prevent bone loss, adequate amounts of vitamin D3, zinc, manganese, and other nutrients should be available so that calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus can be incorporated into the bone matrix. Another issue that many people are not aware of is that some forms of calcium supplements are better absorbed than others. 1
In order to overcome the impediments that preclude ageing women from achieving optimal calcium status, Life Extension Bone Restore with Vitamin K2 supplement has been designed that provides 700 elemental milligrams from three different forms of calcium per daily dose, along with critically important nutrients needed to promote healthy bones. Bone Restore™ provides calcium along with nutrients such as boron and silicon to further boost the body's ability to maintain healthy bone density.
Bone Restore with Vitamin K2 provides a total of 700 mg of three types of easily absorbed calcium: calcium carbonate, calcium citrate malate, calcium bisglycinate, all delivered in a capsule that ensures better utilisation by the body.
Vitamin D is essential for absorbing calcium from the digestive tract into the bloodstream. 2,3 And vitamin K2 helps maintain bone density by promoting calcium transport from the bloodstream into bone. 4-6 Thus, vitamins D3 and K2 are essential for helping maintain strong, healthy bones and teeth. Magnesium is needed to maintain strong bones. 7 Bone Restore with Vitamin K2 contains 300 mg of magnesium from magnesium oxide. Zinc, manganese, and silicon are essential for healthy bone maintenance. 6,8,9 You have to have a sufficient intake of these elements to support healthy bone formation. 6,10 Boron is a trace mineral with beneficial effects for bone and joint strength. 9,11 This formula contains patented Fruitex B® OsteoBoron®, made from a calcium/carbohydrate/boron complex similar to what’s found in fruits and vegetables.
