Each capsule provide: Cytokine Suppress™ mung bean extract (coat) [providing 24 mg vitexin, 24 mg isovitexin] - 240 mg and Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) [from green tea extract (leaf)] - 300 mg.
Other ingredients: vegetable cellulose (capsule), dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, silica, stearic acid.
How long does it take for Cytokine Suppress to have a noticeable effect?
Due to our unique biochemistries and lifestyles, the times it takes to notice benefits can vary from person to person. We encourage that the product be taken for at least 3 months on a regular basis before assessing its full effects.
What is the caffeine MG of this dose?
This formula uses 315.8 mg of green tea extract to provide 300mg of Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Each serving contains a caffeine content of NMT (not more than) 0.1%, equivalent to 0.3158 mg.
How important is it to take this apart from food?
Life Extension formulates its product dosing and instructions based on scientific literature. This product is suggested to be taken without food, because there is the concern that EGCG and other components found in mung bean coat extract may interfere with other polyphenols/catechins in food. In one study, it was found that the simultaneous ingestion of dietary proteins reduced the bioavailability of galloylated catechins from green tea in humans.
