£12.50

Lamberts Healthcare Calcium Pantothenate provides 500mg of vitamin B5 in a timed-release supplement.

Pantothenic Acid, or vitamin B5, is essential for the production of adrenal, reproductive and growth hormones, haemoglobin and antibodies. It is often referred to as the "anti-stress vitamin" due to its supporting role in the production of adrenal hormones. A deficiency in pantothenic acid also leads to chronic constipation and this accounts for the countless thousands of laxatives which are purchased on a daily basis. Pantothenic acid is involved in the production of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in the peristaltic action of the intestinal muscles. It is therefore of value in helping people overcome their dependency on laxatives.
