Zam-Buk Antiseptic Ointment

20-Grams

£3.99

Famously endorsed by the great Harry Houdini, who used it to soothe his wrists after escapology feats, Zam-Buk Antiseptic Ointment is a handy home remedy for cuts, sores, bruises, sprains, burns, chilblains and insect bites.

First appearing on chemist’s shelves in 1903, before antibiotics, Zam-Buk Antiseptic Ointment was an important first aid medicine for preventing infection from cuts and abrasions, which otherwise might result in death. By the middle of the 20th century, with the invention of penicillin and other antibiotics, Zam-Buk Antiseptic Ointment had disappeared from our medicine cupboards.

Formulated with Eucalyptus, Pine and Thyme Oil, the addition of Beeswax brings anti-inflammatory properties to this household and handbag essential.

Take a small amount of Zam-Buk Antiseptic Ointment on your finger and apply it on the affected area on the skin.

Petrolatum, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Oil, Cera Alba(Beeswax/Cire D'Abeille), Pinus Sylvestris(Pine) oil, Camphor, Thymus Vulgaris(Thyme) Oil, Limonene, Linalool, CI 75810 (Chlorophyll).
