Is this new formula of the Ultra Hydrating dewy skin serum scented the same as the old formula of the Ultra Hydrating serum?
Yes, they do smell the same.
I can see that the hydrating serum has Vitamin C listed in the ingredients. Would I be able to layer this under my Vitamins C+E+Ferulic Serum that I love, or is that too much Vitamin C?
Yes, you can use it with your other products.
How much hyaluronic acid is there in it?
Thank you for your interest in our ingredients. While I can’t disclose the exact percentage of hyaluronic acid in this formula, I can tell you that it is always formulated at the concentration recommended for maximum results without irritation. Beyond that, it’s good to know that the percentage of an ingredient in a formula is just one part of the story. When designing each formula, DERMA E carefully considers the product’s effectiveness, natural content, pH balance, gentleness, and safety. Hopefully this helps!
Would I use this serum before or after my prescription azelaic acid gel?
Please apply it over the prescription.
Does this hydrating serum contain any fragrances?
Derma E uses essential oils for a mild scent.
Do you think that the Ultra Hydrating Serum is good for dry skin?
The ultra hydrating serum is best for dry and dehydrated skin. It will plump the skin by binding moisture to the skin and will help to smooth out lines and wrinkles.
Is it safe to layer this under a lotion that contains salicylic acid? Or would the vitamin C interact badly with the salicylic acid?
You can layer this. However, if you are using salicylic acid to help with acne, you may want to consider using that product by itself in the evening for best results, and you can use the hydrating serum in the daytime.
Can this be used around my eyes?
Yes, but be careful not to get it into the eye area. You may also want to try the hydrating eye cream.
Is this product non-comedogenic?
All DERMA E products are non-comedogenic.
Do you use hyaluronic acid with a low molecular weight?
It's a low molecular weight and it's also a vegan source, and we use the optimal levels based on science so that the skin can be hydrated and nourished.
