India Knight from The Sunday Times writes about Thyme Out:
Thyme Out Benefits:
Thyme has been the subject of several studies for its benefits to skin including helping to prevent blemished skin. Blemished skin is caused by the bacteria which live on the skins surface and infect the skin pores. Currently the most common treatments are the use of antibiotics or topical creams and washes containing benzoyl peroxide.
A study carried out by the University of Leeds showed amazing results using Thyme tincture when compared to benzoyl peroxide. Thyme proved significantly more powerful at eradicating skin conditions, the bacteria that cause skin condition, than any other topical medication. Thyme Out is not only the best natural treatment for acne but is actually the best treatment for acne. Unlike many topical creams liable to cause itching and irritation, Thyme Out displays powerful anti-inflammatory properties which helps soothe skin.
Thyme Out helps quickly treat acne breakouts, helps prevent future blemish breakouts and soothes skin without drying it or causing any irritation.
Thyme has a long history of use as a medicinal healer and protector. In the Roman era, thyme was consumed to prevent poisoning and to protect meat against deterioration. Thyme was considered to have antibacterial and antifungal properties helping to protect against infection. Prior to antibiotics, thyme oil was used to medicate bandages helping to treat bacterial and fungal infections. Thyme Out is great for use on all types of fungal infections including athletes foot, ringworm and other fungal infections.
The antibacterial properties of Thyme-Out fight the bacteria that cause underarm odour. Use it either on its own or use it first before application of a fragranced deodorant. Thyme-Out may sting slightly if applied to recently shaved arms.
