Rhodiola Rosea

Rhodiola is termed an adaptogenic herb. This means that it can help to increase tolerance to various different types of stressors, be these mental, physical or environmental. Rhodiola acts primarily upon the hypothalamus in the brain in a way that normalises the manner in which the body responds to stress triggers i.e. modulates how stressful a situation appears. Rhodiola extracts are useful for anxiety and stress.
