Active Edge® Capsules (Cherry and Blueberry) contain less than half a gram of carbohydrate per capsule, so they may appeal to diabetic consumers and others on a restricted carbohydrate diet. Why do I notice sediment in some batches of Active Edge® Concentrates?
Active Edge® fruits and vegetables are harvested at their peak, normally during July/August and during processing, some batches may have sediment that settles in the bottle. Variances in taste and colour may also occur. Since Active Edge® products have no artificial colours or sweeteners, these variances may be noticeable in the product, and it is not abnormal for the product colour to darken with time. This is a natural process that, in no way, affects the efficacy of the product.
Should I mix Active Edge® concentrates with something? What can I mix it with??
Some people prefer the drink Active Edge® concentrates undiluted ("straight"), however, most people prefer to mix it with water or juice. We recommend a ratio of 30 ml of juice per serving) in 250 ml of water or another beverage. Active Edge® concentrates also work well added to natural yogurt or smoothies.
