Fermbucha™ is an alcohol-free kombucha powder obtained by fermenting black tea with a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts (SCOBY). This traditional fermentation process significantly improves absorption into the body equivalent to Kombucha tea but in a more convenient form. The powder contains metabolites such as glucuronic acid and D-saccharic acid-1,4-lactone, as well as other bioactive substances like highly absorbable flavonoids that serve as SOD-like substances. Unlike Kombucha drinks, Fermented Kombucha contains very high amounts of specific polyphenols and antixodants from black tea in their aglycon form. Kombucha's benefits are associated with the fact that it is rich in antioxidants, may reduce inflammation in the body, aid digestion, and may support healthy fat metabolism.
The fermentation process used for the ingredient in this product converts plant compounds to a pre-digested, simpler form, which supports bioavailability, increases digestibility, and potentiates the activity of various compounds.
