When should I use Skinesis Dynamic Defence SPF 15 Day cream?
Use on cleansed skin after other serums but before moisturiser.
Is it safe to use Sarah Chapman Skinesis products during pregnancy, illness or with medicines?
We recommend consulting your doctor or medical practitioner for advice on specific formulas.
Are Sarah Chapman Skinesis products suitable for sensitive skin?
Whilst every complexion is different, many with sensitive skin have found Skinesis products excellent for their concerns. There are some products created specifically for sensitive skin: Ultimate Cleanse, Comfort Cream D-stress, Ultra Recovery Booster, Liquid Facial D-stress, and 3D Moisture Infusion. We would not recommend using our Pro Hydro-Mist Steamer on complexions prone to rosacea, as the heat may cause further irritation.
After using Skinesis products, my skin feels tight/tingly - is that normal?
This is not a cause for concern – Skinesis products are highly potent, and the concentrated active ingredients may stimulate a response in the skin. However, this should not be painful – if you experience burning, itching or warmth, please get in touch with us and we will be able to advise you.
What is the shelf life of Sarah Chapman Skinesis products?
Any liquid should always be discarded after a year, or two years if unopened.
Do Sarah Chapman Skinesis test your products on animals?
Sarah Chapman Skinesis does not, and never has, tested its products on animals.
What are Sarah Chapman Skinesis products formulated without? / Do Skinesis products contain parabens?
Skinesis products are carefully formulated for optimal effectiveness, and only the very best, most efficacious ingredients. All Skinesis products undergo extensive testing and have been deemed safe for use.
Are Sarah Chapman Skinesis products comedogenic?
Skinesis products have not undergone non-comedogenic testing; however, all products are deemed to be suitable and beneficial for congestion-prone skin.
Are Sarah Chapman Skinesis products hypoallergenic?
Skinesis products have been carefully formulated to ensure that they are beneficial for most skin concerns. However, every complexion is different and may react to certain ingredients. If your skin is prone to sensitivity, we recommend patch-testing a small amount of your chosen formula before full application.
Are Sarah Chapman Skinesis products vegan/vegetarian?
90% of skinesis products are vegan. 10% contain beeswax derived from ‘happy bees’ (no bees were harmed in the making of the beeswax). Some of supplements contain lanolin, which is derived from sheep’s wool.
Do Sarah Chapman Skinesis use synthetic fragrance?
No; only naturally derived essential and botanical oils (in minimal amounts) are used.
Can I recycle Sarah Chapman Skinesis packaging?
Whilst some of Skinesis current packaging is recyclable, Sarah Chapman are continuing to work hard to find more sustainable packaging options. Their packaging is specifically designed to be airtight and opaque, to ensure the actives within don’t lose potency. Maintaining these benefits within environmentally friendly packaging is a challenge – but one that they are working on!
