The active ingredient of Hübner Silicea® DIRECT is silica gel (silicic acid gel), a compound made of silicon (Si), oxygen, and water, which has a high capacity to bind pathogens, toxins, and gases in the gastrointestinal tract, providing relief from symptoms and supporting the regeneration of the gastrointestinal tract.
Hübner Original Silicea® Gastro-Intestinal DIRECT is a purely mineral and well-tolerated medical device without additives. Hubner silica gel is suitable for both children and adults and comes in a convenient sachet that is free from gluten and lactose.
Directions: As a food supplement, for the internal treatment of acute gastrointestinal complaints, children and adults should take 2 sachets, at 15 ml each, 3–5 times a day, directly or diluted in water or tea between meals and if required, immediately before bedtime. When acute symptoms have eased, treatment can be continued for a few days by taking 1 sachet (15 ml) 3 times a day. Recommended for long-term use up to 6 weeks in cases of chronic gastrointestinal complaints like nausea, flatulence, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, vomiting, or heartburn, adults should take 1 sachet (15 ml) directly or diluted in water or tea 3 times a day on an empty stomach or between meals. We recommend a treatment course of up to 6 weeks; symptoms should improve after 3 weeks.
In consultation with your doctor, please take your medication at least 2 hours before or after taking Hübner Original Silicea® Gastro-Intestinal DIRECT, as it may influence the effect of the medication. How do I store the gastro-intestinal gel?
Store in a refrigerator at 4° to 8°C and use within 4 weeks of opening. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not store above 25°C.
