Will the Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) in MOISTURIZING COMPLEX cause peeling?MOISTURIZING COMPLEX will not cause peeling because it is formulated to be non-keratolytic. The Vitamin A used in MOISTURIZING COMPLEX is an ester (lipid) form of the vitamin called Retinyl Palmitate. This is a gentle lipid naturally present in the skin, therefore absorbs readily into our natural, protective lipid barrier. This ester form of Vitamin A is vital to optimal skin health and offers antioxidant protection, normalizes cell renewal and turnover, and normalizes epithelial cell development.
