How to use: Massage generously into dry, wet or damp hair after using the Gentle Shampoo and/or Nourishing Conditioner. Leave the Intensive Mask on for 5-10 minutes, or longer depending on the condition of the hair. Rinse with cool water. Gently dab hair to dry, taking care not to distort curl pattern.
Extra tips for thick hair: Take care to section your hair before applying the mask to ensure full coverage. Apply the product from roots to ends and use the Intensive Hair Mask with the Nourishing Conditioner.
Extra tips for fine hair: Apply the mask from the mid-lengths to your ends, so you don’t weigh down your waves at the root. Brush through the hair to make sure the mid-lengths to ends are fully coated.

How often should I use the intensive hair mask?
As often as you like.
How long do I leave the intensive hair mask on my hair?
- If you only have a few minutes or for a quick shine boost: Leave the Intensive Mask for 3 – 5 minutes and rinse.
- A little longer time to indulge your hair: Apply the Intensive Mask in the shower or bath, leaving the steam to help open your hair's cuticle to leaving the Intensive Hair Mask to work its magic.
- If you have even longer and can really treat your hair: Cover hair with a shower cap/towel/hooded steamer for 15-20 minutes or let your body heat do the work. Alternatively, pop on your Intensive Hair Mask, sit in the steam room and have a little gossip with the girls (a personal favourite of me and the girls). Or, you can apply to wet or dry hair, cover your hair and leave on overnight, and rinse out in the morning.
How Often should I wash my hair?
How often you should wash your hair entirely depends on your hair type and varies for everyone. The finer your curls, the more regularly you may need to wash your hair, although the general rule of thumb is once a week. If you are used to washing your hair daily, you may notice that it appears to be greasy for the first few days until it adjusts to the new combination and routine. This may not work for everyone and you may still need to shampoo daily – luckily our Gentle Shampoo is great for everyday use.
How often should I condition my hair?
If you have hair that is dry, prone to tangles or have thicker curls then we recommend that in addition to using our Nourishing Conditioner after shampooing, you should consider using our Nourishing Conditioner alone without using the shampoo on some days.
For finer curls, you can alternate between the Gentle shampoo and Nourishing Conditioner.
