Is Daily Bowel Regularity enteric coated?
No, this formula is not enteric coated. However, it's important to note that enteric coating is not universally necessary for all probiotics. Some probiotic strains such as the one found in our FLORASSIST® Daily Bowel Regularity are acid stable and can survive within the pH range of the stomach.
Should I take Daily Bowel all the time, or only when needed?
This product can be taken long term and we suggest to use on a consistent basis. It does not require a break between use. However, this product can be used as needed dependent on individual health needs.
Is this suitable for children?
We cannot make any suggestions for individuals under the age of 18. We suggest speaking with the child's pediatrician.
Does this product need to be refrigerated?
This product does not require refrigeration since the probiotic is stable in the packaging at room temperature.
Can a person remove the capsule and only have the probiotic material inside?
You can, and it is still possible that you derive benefit from the nutrients. However, the product was not designed for ingestion in this manner and some may find the taste objectionable because the product is very potent.
Is Daily Bowel Regularity dairy-free? The description notes that HN019 was initially isolated from yogurt.
The finished product does not contain any dairy.
What is the best time of day to take Daily Bowel Regularity? Should I take it with food or without food and how long should you go without food before and after taking it?
Life Extension formulates its product dosing and instructions based on scientific literature. We suggest following the instructions on the product label; since we do not state a particular time of day for use this product can be taken anytime with or without food based on your preference.
