What is C-Deep Vitamin C Serum?
C-Deep is a Vitamin C serum containing Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate.  It is a stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C. It is an antioxidant ingredient that offers various benefits for the skin, including brightening the complexion, promoting collagen synthesis, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and protecting the skin against environmental damage.

What are the benefits of C-Deep?
C-Deep containing Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is known to brighten and even skin tone y helping to inhibit melanin production, leading to a more even complexion and reduced appearance of dark spots. It also stimulated collagen synthesis in the skin, promoting firmness and elasticity, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In addition Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate acts as an antioxidant, protecting the skin from free radicals and environmental damage, such as UV radiation and pollution and can help refine the skin's texture, making it appear smoother and more youthful. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate also supports the skin's natural moisture barrier, helping to retain moisture and keep the skin hydrated.

When and how should I use C-Deep Serum?
Use C-Deep in the evening. C-Deep Vitamin C Serum is an oil based product so should be applied directly after cleansing and creams.

Can C-Deep Vitamin C Serum be used on all skin types?
C-Deep is generally suitable for most skin types nd has gone through testing to confirm it's suitability for sensitive skin. However, individuals with sensitive or reactive skin may still want to perform a patch test before applying it to their entire face.

Can C-Deep be used with other skincare products?
Yes, C-Deep Serum can typically be used in combination with other skincare products. However, if you are using other active ingredients or prescription medications, it is advisable to consult with a dermatologist or skincare professional.

Why does C-Deep have a faint smell like oil or petrol?
C-Deep has squalane in it.  It can have a subtle oily or petrol-like smell due to its natural origins and the manufacturing process. While it’s highly refined, trace remnants of the raw materials or processes can contribute to this scent. It’s a normal characteristic, especially in fragrance-free products, and doesn’t indicate poor quality.

Can C-Deep Vitamin C Serum be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Whilst generally recommended safe to use during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding it is always advisable to seek medical advice from your healthcare professional before introducing any new products into your skincare regime.

The colour of my serum is different to my previous one. Is this normal?
Due to the high percentage of natural extracts, this serum is naturally scented and colour may vary.

What is an active ingredient and what does it mean?
An "active ingredient" refers to the specific component or substance within a product that provides a therapeutic or beneficial effect on the skin. Active ingredients are typically responsible for targeting and addressing specific skin concerns.

How can I maximise the longevity and effectiveness of my serum?
Keep away from direct sunlight, avoid extreme temperatures, seal the container properly to minimise air exposure and avoid moisture and humidity and pay attention to the period after opening symbol. Layering products in the correct order, such as applying serums before moisturisers, can optimise their absorption and effectiveness.

Do I need to wear an SPF while using C-Deep Vitamin C?
It is recommended to always apply SPF as the last step in your skincare routine.

Does DoSe by VH replace Garden of Wisdom?
