How to use: Simply place your favourite NEOM Essential Oil Blend inside the Pod. Where can I use it?
Neom Pod Mini+ was cleverly created with small spaces in mind so we’d say it’s best suited to rooms such as your home office or guest bathroom. As it’s wireless and runs on a rechargeable battery, you can even take it with you on trips away from home or even in your car.
Is it safe to use in the car?
Yes, it’s entirely safe to use in your car. Just change and adjust the settings before you set off and never whilst driving. Do also ensure the Pod is kept secure in a cup holder so it stays upright and refrain from using any of Neom sleepy scents.
How does it work without water?
The Mini Pod+ uses nebulising or atomising technology and is not ultrasonic. There’s no need for dilution in water as the air pressure in the nozzle draws up the essential oil and breaks it into tiny particles that are diffused into the air neat.
What’s the tool in the box for?
The black oil dropper remover tool is for modifying your oil blend jar so it screws directly into the Pod Mini+.
Do I need to clean it?
As there’s no water, there’s no tank to clean. To keep your waterless diffuser in good condition, we do suggest disconnecting from any power source and cleaning the nozzle with a soft cloth. You can also fill an empty jar with medicinal alcohol* and run the diffuser for an hour or two to keep it functioning at its best.
*Use a natural medical grade alcohol, sometimes also called ‘rubbing alcohol’. Rubbing alcohol is either isopropyl alcohol or ethanol-based liquids, or the comparable British Pharmacopoeia defined surgical spirit, with isopropyl alcohol products being the most widely available.
Can I use any USB cable?
We recommend using the USB cable that comes with your Pod Mini to charge it.
Is it safe to use around pets?
Although Neom products contain 100% natural fragrance, it’s tricky for us to advise what effect these will have on your pets since Neom have not tested any of their products on animals. We would recommend seeking professional advice from your vet before using a new product around your home.
Can it be used around children?
Neom founder, Nicola carefully designed each of the fragrances with children in mind so the Wellbeing Pods could be enjoyed by the whole family. Some ingredients can cause people to react differently to others so always consult your doctor or a medical professional.
Can I use other brands of essential oils?
Neom have not tested essential oils other than their own so we would therefore not advise this. The Pod Mini+ has also been designed to suit Neom essential oil bottle so others may not fit. Corrosive oils such as citronella and other brands may also cause damage, which would not be covered by your warranty.
Can I mix water and oil to make them last longer?
Please don’t mix them. The Pod Mini+ has been designed to be waterless and will therefore not work.
Does it humidify air?
No, it doesn’t, since the Mini is completely waterless.
How loud is the Pod Mini+?
As it’s a nebuliser, there is a slight motor noise each time the fragrance is released as it’s working hard to scent your space.
