Can POLY-VITAMIN SERUM be used on irritated or red skin?
Although POLY-VITAMIN SERUM has proven helpful in some conditions involving red skin, such as in the iS CANCER CARE program, it may be best to first patch test in other skin conditions involving redness or irritation. POLY-VITAMIN SERUM contains botanical AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) and is mildly exfoliating. It should not be used in rosacea or in those who are sensitive to niacin. POLY-VITAMIN SERUM contains one of your highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid. When should it be recommended?
POLY-VITAMIN SERUM is much more than a hydrator, although its high concentration of hyaluronic acid gives it wonderful hydrating properties. It is also a powerful cellular rejuvenator, helping to restore skin to its optimal level of metabolism. This lightweight serum features several vitamins required for skin health — Vitamin B3 (Niacin), Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), Vitamin A (retinol), and Vitamin E (tocopherol).
Which skin concerns is it going to help?
It is great for all compromised skin – including photoaging, smokers, dehydrated skin, and those with other illnesses. As well as dry, and dehydrated skin that is needing to bring the glow back. What is the source of Vitamin A (retinol) in iS CLINICAL products?
The retinol – which is Vitamin A – in iS CLINICAL products comes from a variety of plants. These are green, yellow, and/or orange colored vegetables. Although retinol may be obtained in large amounts from animal sources (predominantly animal liver), iS CLINICAL never obtains Vitamin A from animals but only from plants. Vitamin A is found in smaller amounts in plant sources compared to animal so larger amounts of plants are required to obtain a given amount of retinol.

Due to POLY-VITAMIN SERUM containing ingredients that create micro-circulation within the skin we would not recommend this product if your suffer with Rosacea.
