Does Rosalique help with flushing?
Skin flushing or getting blushes is a sudden reddening of the face, neck and sometimes even upper chest because there is an increase in blood flow. There are lots of reasons why you might experience blushing, like being angry, embarrassed, excited or any other emotion. We also tend to experience flushing when doing exercise or just being in different temperatures, and of course many women experience in increase in flushing through menopause. It is said that up to 80% of women experience facial flushing during menopause. We'd first like to say - please never feel embarrassed about flushing. We have lots of customers tell us they feel uncomfortable about flushing, but please believe us when we say you are gorgeous in every way. That said, if you do feel you would like something to make the flushing symptoms like redness less visible, we have been told by customers that Rosalique takes away the immediate visibility of redness, which in turn might help with the embarrassment. Wearing Rosalique has made them feel more confident and comfortable.
Is the SPF50 enough to last the whole day?
Wearing an SPF when you have sensitive or redness-prone skin is extremely important. That is why they have equipped Rosalique with the best SPF you can possibly imagine. It is even rated 5 stars by the Boots Star Rating. Applying Rosalique in the morning as part of your beauty routine should get you through a dark and cloudy day, although we'd prefer if you would re-apply a few times throughout the day. When it is very sunny, a gorgeous summer day, best is to stay out of direct sunlight - especially when you are prone to redness. If you are in the sun, make sure to re-apply Rosalique frequently throughout the day, just like a normal moisturising cream.
Does Rosalique help with lupus (butterfly rash)?
Lupus is an auto-immune disease which affects a lot more people than you'd think. Many people have never heard of Lupus and there is still a lot unknown. It is often difficult to diagnose and symptoms range from joint and muscle pain, fatigue, fever to hair loss and anaemia. Another symptom is often referred to as Butterfly Rash. The rash shows as red or purplish in a butterfly pattern, generally covering the cheeks and bridge of the nose. Sometimes it is also very itchy and painful. Quite a few of Rosalique's customers have informed them that Rosalique is definitely helping with their Butterfly Rash. On a final note however, we would recommend doing a patch test first - Rosalique has been tested for sensitive skin and should be fine, but everyone is different and people with lupus are known to have super sensitive skin - so better be safe than sorry!
Will Rosalique work on oily skin?
It can be tricky for people with oily skin to get tinted and cover-up products to stay on. Rosalique is not greasy but if you’ve already got oily skin and you find Rosalique gives you too much of a ‘dewy’ look, a little bit of translucent setting powder usually does the trick! It can also help to make sure your face is thoroughly cleansed with a gentle face wash (that doesn’t dry out the skin), before using Rosalique.
Does Rosalique work when I have eczema?
Eczema is an allergic skin conditions that as of yet does not have a cure. There are however many things that we can do to help the skin become stronger and healthier. Although Rosalique was not originally designed for eczema specifically, it was designed to help with any type of redness and sensitivity. Therefore if you wish to cover some of your eczema, Rosalique really should become your go-to product. Rosalique has the ability to cover the redness, plus the 5 active ingredients will help with inflammation and irritation, improving the general level of health of your skin whilst you are wearing it. What kinds of skin types or tones is Rosalique for?
Rosalique was first and foremost created with redness-prone and sensitive skin in mind. As most of us suffer from some form of redness at some point in our lives, we felt the need to create something light and easy to help you create great looking skin on a daily basis. In Rosalique's two year existence we have found, however, due to the versatile nature of Rosalique many different people and many different skin tones and types have started to use Rosalique for many different purposes. We find that people with a range of skin types and issues use Rosalique, for example redness, rosacea, butterfly rash, acne, eczema or just for those who would like to use a great primer with active ingredients to give them healthy skin.
Rosalique stains my fingers a little green, what can I do to prevent or help that?
As Rosalique is minty green, it might leave a little residue on your fingers if you do indeed apply with your fingers/hands. Fear not though, if you make sure to wash your hands immediately after applying (with soap), it should come off quickly. We know as well that many customers use wipes or something alike to remove the green off their fingers.
Does Rosalique work on spider veins?
Rosalique not only masks redness, it also reduces the irritation and inflammation in the skin over time, and protects long term with its SPF50! Although Spider Veins and other forms of veins in the face are very hard or nearly impossible to make disappear, we have found that Rosalique covers them very successfully. Additionally, as these smalls veins often go hand in hand with general redness, the active ingredients in Rosalique have the ability to calm and tone down any aggression in the skin, often times also reducing the appearance of veins. Please make sure to wear Rosalique on a daily basis for at least 6-8 weeks to see maximum results.
Rosalique feels a little too dark for me?
We really believe that even those with very fair skin can use Rosalique, particularly as a primer. If you have redness and very fair skin, we recommend starting out with the tiniest amount and applying it only to the red areas, as a redness-corrector and primer. It would merely be less than a pea-sized amount, about the size of a grain of rice. Once the red areas have successfully been toned down, you can ensure to use your normal foundation which works with your skin, but would probably not have covered the redness on its own.
Should I use Rosalique with a moisturiser?
This is always a bit of a tricky question to answer, as everyone tends to have their own special skincare and makeup regime. We like to recommend using your own daily moisturiser before applying Rosalique, but you can definitely also opt to not use a moisturiser at all and use Rosalique instead. Because Rosalique has 5 active ingredients, it will have great benefits to your skin eliminating the need to also use a moisturiser.
Does Rosalique cream conceal or treat redness?
Rosalique has been designed to do both! The unique green cream instantly conceals any redness or uneven marks you may have. Can men use Rosalique 3 In 1 Anti-Redness Miracle?
Men can definitely use Rosalique and we know many men do! Our packaging might be a bit more feminine, but the product is suitable for all genders, men, women or whichever other gender you may identify as.
The feedback that we get from men who are not accustomed to wearing anything on their skin, is that the product does not feel like putting on and wearing make up, it just feels like a moisturiser that happens to also cover the redness. Additionally, we know a lot of the Make Up Artists who love us, use it on their male, female, or non-binary celebrity (and non-celebrity) clients - so if they do it, you definitely can too.
Is Rosalique Vegan?
We are happy to say Rosalique is suitable to use if you are living a Vegan or Vegetarian lifestyle.
Is Rosalique Cruelty-Free?
We are happy to say Rosalique is indeed not tested on animals. In fact, within the European Union it is illegal to test cosmetics on animals, therefore if we were to have been tested on animals, we would not be allowed to sell Rosalique on the European market.
Does Rosalique work for Acne?
Although Rosalique was not necessarily created to be a treatment for Acne, we have found many customers are greatly benefiting from using Rosalique over a 'normal' foundation or primer. Rosalique will successfully cover your redness as a result of acne, without feeling like you are clogging your pores, because Rosalique is non-comedogenic. Additionally, because of the 5 active ingredients in Rosalique, customers are experiencing a significant reduction in their symptoms like spots, blackheads and pimples due to anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties of some of the ingredients.
Can I use Rosalique on my sensitive skin?
The short answer to this questions is - yes. We have tested Rosalique to be suitable for sensitive skin, especially because we know that people who suffer from redness, generally have quite sensitive skin. Rosalique is Dermatologically Tested and deemed 'very suitable' for those with more sensitive skin. However, as every skin is different, we always recommend that our customers patch test Rosalique if you are uncertain. In addition to that, if you know you are hypersensitive, please make sure to test any new skincare or makeup you were to ever try. Every skin has a past, so it might be that in the past you, for example, have used steroids or other ingredients that might cause hypersensitivity, or it might be that you are allergic to any of the (natural) ingredients in a product. That is why we have samples of Rosalique - if your skin does not respond adversely within 48 hours, you are good to go.
How long does Rosalique last?
This is always a bit of a tricky question to answer as every skin is different and Rosalique serves so many purposes. For those of you who have quite red skin, you might find that you need to have a little top up during the day, also to ensure your SPF will last you the entire day. For those of you who use Rosalique as a primer to touch up some smaller uneven parts, it might last you the entire day. The product as such tends to last around 4-6 weeks for those of us who have quite a bit of redness.
