DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is an essential nutrient during pregnancy and during the development of the very young child. DHA supports growth, function and brain development. The increased incidences of eczema and other concerns such as ADHD are now being implicated to a lack of essential fatty acids in the mother's diet. MorDHA is a natural source of more than 70% of highly purified concentrated omega-3 fatty acids derived from pharmaceutical-grade fish oil.

Low levels of DHA have been correlated with changes in disposition, memory loss and other neurological concerns.
