£16.49

Solaray Bloat-X capsules contain an innovative blend of herbs, advanced digestive enzymes and probiotics for ideal water and fluid balance, along with healthy digestion.

At birth humans are estimated to be 90 per cent water. This decreases with age to about 70 per cent then goes down to 50% per cent in old age. There is no doubt that water is essential to human health; it helps regulate temperature with perspiration, it moistens our eyes and humidifies the air we breathe, it is necessary for our cells to absorb nutrients and get rid of waste materials, it helps our digestion and excretion processes and is important to blood flow. Generally speaking water is good for you. Bloating, however, may be an indication that the normal process of water in, water out may be impaired temporarily, although not always. There are many causes for bloating, some involving unnecessary water retention, but many also involving food intolerance (lactose, beans) that can cause gas in the digestive tract or food allergies due to a lack of enzymes or beneficial bacteria. Other symptoms of bloating may be caused by menstrual cycle discomfort, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and even intestinal parasites. Bloating results in a puffy appearance, a feeling of discomfort and lack of energy resulting in sluggishness. Bloating may be a passing situation due to poor eating habits or menstruation, but it may be a reason to consult your health practitioner, particularly if it is long lasting as it may hide a more serious condition.

Fight back with a proprietary blend of soothing, restorative and cleansing herbs, plus an advanced and balanced blend of digestive enzymes that will help break down carbohydrates, proteins, fibres and lactose. Plus a two strain probiotic blend of beneficial bacterias that help provide nutritive support for a healthy digestive tract.
